Ladies and gents...in case you hadn't driven up the Paparazzi clad, celebrity hang out Robertson Blvd (los angeles, ca) ...there is a Chanel store opening! Yup...Robertson has Chanel. We have been told that its strictly accessories - but, we will never really know until it's doors open.
While we are on the subject of Robertson Blvd...there is a D&G opening as well! So, whatever you couldn't find at Curve or Diavolina...you can now find at Chanel or D&G. I also recommend stopping off at Reiss...it's a really really great store that has great dresses and more... and ladies, you can shop for your man there too. If you are a fan of 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', like I am, this is where Bruce Jenner went to get his make-over. IF Reiss could make THAT man look good...imagine what it could do for us: the young the beautiful!!!

As if this is a good thing. I see nothing in this article regarding the uphill battle the residents of this neighborhood have been fighting for a year and 1/2 against the construction company building this place (and the new Ralph Lauren 2 doors down), and all the laws they're breaking.
For over a year, I (along w/ every neighbor on this street, who share an alleyway with Robertson) have been woken up at 5am to the sound of drills, cranes, cement trucks, hammering, drilling, etc...and the noise does not cease till 11pm or later, leaving a mere 6 hours of quiet time for residents. (LA law dictates no construction is allowed between 7pm and 7am, and NONE on Sundays).
Every time a neighbor calls the cops, nothing happens. I wonder how many bribes Chanel and Ralph Lauren have paid out to run illegal building sites for over a year at the expense of an entire neighborhood?
