Yes, I know, the word Thrive automatically makes you think, " Kaiser Permanente" - but, you're wrong, in this case! Thrive is a new brand of fantastical fashions with an out of this world philosophy. Thrive, created by two tech-guys, is a fashion brand that houses, cultivates and incubates talents that loom in the streets...well, they don't really loom. What I mean to say is, they pair themselves up with designers who have got other projects but might be a bit (dare I say) unknown. Thrive brings them on to work with an illusive Thrive team (meaning, they have been there from the get-go) and create Thrive-esque garments...with a fresh new touch.
So, WHO have they been working with for two season's now? Great question, kids. Thrive has enlisted the talents of Disc-Jockey/Designer/Socialite, Ben Cho. Yes...his conceptual-heiness (or majesty... this is up for debate) is creating for the everyday girl. If you picked up the April issue of Nylon Magazine, you would see that they felt compelled to tell us the Thrive story too...one that shouldn't go untold.
It's a great concept...something different. Different is exactly what you get when you throw Ben Cho in the mix. Our question is, when is it Ben's time to go? How will they bring in a new designer without tripping up on maintaining the Thrive look? Well kids, you can bet that I will find out...and I will share it with you! In the meantime, check out www.ThriveLA.com
