Alexis Mabille's Fall 2008 Couture collection was really simple, but beautiful. I will say that I found it difficult to see some of the relativity from one look to another, but I really liked it. It was very clean and one could understand the art he created. It wasn't overly done....and we like that. Bravo to the new kid on the block!
What's wonderful about Couture is that it can be anything the designer wants. It doesn't necessarily have to placate to the rules of creating a 'sellable' collection...so, we get a chance to see what's really going on inside of the designers mind.
